Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Sakata is proud to make the Earth a priority, not just today, but every day. We do this by committing daily to seven of the Sustainable Development Goals called upon by the United Nations in order to bring peace and prosperity to the people and the planet.

The National #EarthDay theme of 2024 is #PlanetVsPlastics. With that being said, Sakata is proud to support this theme through ongoing efforts. Check out what we`ve been up to both in the fight against plastic, as well as in support of our SDGs:⠀⠀⠀⠀

🌱 Reduce and reuse! - We are working to reduce our plastic waste at company events by introducing reusable drinking cups.

🌱 Recycle! - We are also making our events more sustainable by opting for disposable materials that can be recycled or composted - like bamboo tableware!

🌱 Recycle RIGHT! - We work with our local waste management companies to ensure we sort responsibly and to identify areas for improvement in our waste streams.

Did you know the National Garden Bureau named 2024 the year of the squash? Pumpkin is a superfood for dogs and cats and has many benefits for our furry pals. Many dog parents know it`s great for soothing their stomach with it`s high fiber content, but it`s also full of essential minerals and vitamins, like A, C, and E, as well as iron and potassium.
