Introducing our new AAS winner, Thriller, an exciting new addition to our winter squash portfolio with many noteworthy qualities. As a ‘carnival’ type, it flaunts variable orange and dark green psychedelic stripes on a creamy background, creating outstanding consumer appeal. The colors appear early and hold exceptionally well after harvest. AAS judges have described its rich-orange, dense, and nutty flesh as having a ‘far improved eating quality’ compared to similar types, especially when roasted. Compared to other dumpling types, Thriller has a more compact habit and yields quite well.
