Cherokee (SPP7024) is a widely adapted, green-to-red bell pepper well suited for the desert south west U.S. and in particular, Mexico growing regions. Suited for open field and low-tech protected culture. The maturity is mid-early, with high yields of extra-large fruit with excellent quality. The fruit are firm, dark green and mature to red color. The plants are strong and vigorous with the ability for longer production cycling. Cherokee has high resistance to Pepper mild mottle, Tm: 0-3 / X spp: 0-3, 7, 8 and intermediate resistance to TSWV.
