Polaris is a medium-sized, traditionally-shaped (Waltham type) butternut squash for fresh and processing markets. This strong and vigorous plant yields a high number of very uniformly-sized and shaped fruit per plant. Fruit have a smooth tan exterior and bright orange interior. Polaris has also shown good tolerance to cracking.
