In Texas and the Southeast, this variety has shown excellent results for processors. Alamo yields have been as high as 50% greater than standard varieties due to its vigorous regrowth. Processors like the excellent taste this variety offers. This unique hybrid compares favorably to standard turnip greens, but with much more vigor.
