Dorado is a hybrid pepper rootstock that is considered to be easy grafting and is well suited for both indoor and outdoor production. Compatibility is considered excellent. The roots are very vigorous and tend to have good performance against soil borne diseases and specific races of nematodes often resulting in increased yield potential. Disease resistances are, High resistance: Potato Y virus (PVY: 1 – 2), Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), Ralstonia solanacearum (Rs), Phytophthora capsici (Pc) and Meloidogyne javanica (Mj) and Meloidogyne incognita (Mi R1-4).
