This variety is an outstanding, very popular, second-early, savoy-type hybrid. Under mild climates, Savoy King may be sown in spring, summer and autumn. It is a large headed, heavy yielder offering semi-flat, short-cored and nicely textured heads which are excellent for fresh-market usage. Savoy King is also an AAS Award Winner.
