Millennium is a highly adaptable, crown cut type yielding high-domed heads with very small beads and exceptionally uniform head maturity. It has a round shape, good heat tolerance and less side shoots. Millennium is anthocyanin-free and has shown strong post-harvest color retention. It is adaptable to all SAH production areas, including Salinas Valley, San Joaquin Valley, Santa Maria, Yuma, Pacific Northwest, East Coast/Eastern Canada and Mexico, and works well in warm to cool, cool to warm and warm to warm regions.
